Silver Spoon Baby

16x20 print $75 or 22x28 canvas $300

This oil on canvas painting is a depiction of Kennedy Kelly’s interpretation of the term silver spoon baby. The term "silver spoon baby" symbolizes someone who is born into wealth and privilege, often inheriting their success and opportunities rather than earning them. In Kennedy Kelly's painting, the use of silver hues and delicate brushstrokes aims to convey the opulence and entitlement associated with this concept, while also inviting viewers to question the societal implications...

Dog Eat Dog World

This artwork is a depiction of the saying “dog eat dog world” In a world where everyone is out for themselves Kelly depicts a cityscape amid a riot, as chaos ensues the dog is the main subject, worry-free enjoying a bone, so carefree and oblivious to the chaos and foreboding dogs in the distance, the only thing separating them a barb wire fence. The phrase "dog eat dog world" refers to a competitive and cutthroat environment where individuals must ruthlessly pursue their own

The Nun

16x20 print $75 or 22x28 canvas $300

The piece is a portrait of an African American nun. The overshadowed history of black nuns in the catholic church throughout time has attested to the rarity of black nuns in the catholic church. Historically, the rarity of black nuns in the Catholic Church can be attributed to a combination of systemic racism, limited opportunities for education and religious training for black women, and the exclusionary practices within religious orders. These factors have resulted in the overshadowed history

Go!

16x20 print $75 or 22x28 canvas $300

Go! Is a work about the fear of facing new challenges and going headfirst into one's desires.  The boy is seen at the top of the cliff overlooking the unfamiliar cityscape below, determined the boy wants to go but is being bound , Though there’s forces trying to work against him he defiantly jumps for the city regardless.
